HARD TIMES comin your way!

Due to a lack of funds I had to recently withdraw from the upcoming Creative Loafing You Shoot Photography Show coming up this Thursday. The following were going to be my submissions to the show, they are all based from the photo i used to win one of the YOU SHOOT contests that concentrated on the use of silhouettes , i just could not afford to print and frame all of these at this time. If you can, please go out and support the show, there will be some great Atlanta Photographers showcasing their work!

Wow. I just received a jpeg of the interview and photos i made for the Earth Crisis article in Invasion Magazine! Be sure if you see issue 2 for sale, pick it up. I am in the works for my piece for issue 3 right now.

The Dirty 30

On saturday August 9th i was treated with a incredible surprise birthday party. The planning has been going on for months and i cant believe that so much was put together and perfectly executed without me knowing at all. There was an INFLATABLE BOUCING CASTLE, a vegan buffet from SOUL VEGETARIAN a BADMINTON NET , a setup for CORNHOLE , and even shirts, posters and beer coozies were made and given out as party favors! Friends made the trek to Atlanta from NYC , Chicago, DC, and Florida. I was so taken back when i opened the door to see all of my best friends in the same room to celebrate the end of my 20s. Thank you so much to everyone who came out and helped me not lose my mind turning 30! And a special heartfelt thanks to my lovely lady DANIELLE for putting all of this together and still loving me even though im an old ass man now.

here is the poster that was made by WEARWOLF PRESS. and the design was by KENN TWOFOUR

Shirts were made of my favorite skateboard graphic. printed by WEARWOLF PRESS. and the design was a collaboration between KENN TWOFOUR and DANIELLE.

There was also a SMILEBOOTH set up and lent to the party my some of my FAVORITE PEOPLE.

the RENT BOYS show Atlanta one last time how to PARTY

To be perfectly honest, i didnt think that the RENT BOYS could ever top the show that i saw them play at the Claremont Lounge, but i was sorely mistaken! They played their first show back together in 7 years on August 2nd 2008 at the Star Bar here in Atlanta and it was fucking fantastic. I was amped to take photos of the event, but as soon as they started i realized that i would have to take them from a distance due to the fact that everyone at the show was tanked and tossing beer all over the place and getting insanely rowdy. It was amazing to see them play again and i can only hope it wont be the last time!
